Here for a good time
and for a long time.

Hi there. We’re a non-profit community supporting men's mental health and suicide prevention in the UK.
Have a question? We’re always open to chat hello@itsgoodchat.com.
“Sad” looks different for everyone.
So does stressed, tired, anxious.
“Happy” can feel like an impossible place to reach.
But talking is a tool. It sheds the stigma that keeps us from feeling connected. Talking is a bridge to a less lonely future.
At the end of the day, it’s good to chat.
We hold free
bi-monthly events.
In nice spaces around London with inspiring speakers from various walks of life.
Good Chat
Circle Series
Join us for our first men-only chat! And this time we’re headed east.
We took your feedback seriously when you asked for a more focussed, facilitated chat that invites more peer-to-peer discussion. Enter: Good Chat Circles. These recurring sessions will be themed on a specific topic related to men’s mental health and involve more close, circle-style engagement.
Join us at Sweeney’s boxing gym on May 28! Performance coach Mark Whittle will be co-hosting with Will Castle. Will is a mental health advocate and speaker who channels personal loss into powerful storytelling. Through his film ‘Heirlooms’, he explored how trauma, like heirlooms, can be passed down - and how we can choose to break the cycle.
In partnership with
Incoming Good Chats 2025
The second in our series is happening at The Hero on March 11th! Featuring Simon Salter, co-founder of DIRTEA and Mark Whittle, performance coach and podcaster. Don't miss a good chat.
The third in our series moves to a new location, Sweeney's a community-based gym in East London - to help us reach more men and root the conversation in a familiar, supportive space. Hosted by Mark Whittle and filmmaker/activist Will Castle (@suicideandco), this men-only session will offer a tighter focus, themed discussion, and small breakout groups.
More details to come.
More details to come.
Every day in the UK we lose 18 people to suicide.
Sadly suicide rates are rising for both men and women.
1:5 people will have suicidal thoughts in their lifetime.
It's not just the stats that shout.
People of all ages and backgrounds are facing a pandemic that's experienced largely in the dark - a pandemic of loneliness.
Mental health is a road and it shouldn't have to go as far as suicide for us to look at it. But luckily, it's the only kind of health crisis we can help, lessen, and even prevent by simply talking.
That's what Good Chat aims to do. Have a smart chat in a safe place with people you like, and can count on.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple. We aim to create a community where men feel supported and can speak openly about real things, without the stigma.
We’ll provide practical tools and create spaces for good chats to navigate mental health challenges together.
Together, we’re changing the conversation.
